Financial Accountant Central Manchester – Hybrid Salary – Up to £55,000 Axon Moore are excited to be working on a Financial Accountant piece of recruitment, supporting a well‑known Manchester‑based business, offering a fantastic first step into industry. You’ll join a high‑calibre finance team of ex‑auditors and gain hands‑on experience in financial reporting and accounting, following internal team movements.

Daily Duties :
  • To prepare a comprehensive financial accounting service, ensuring that reports / accounts are produced to meet management / financial reporting and statutory requirements.
  • To assist in the preparation of all statutory requirements, including statutory accounts, VAT submissions, and corporation tax.
  • To assist in the year end accounting process, driving the completion of the deconsolidation of the group to the individual statutory entities, ensuring the accounting for each individual entity is accurate.
  • To assist in the preparation of the year end reporting of the consolidated group.
  • To review the monthly and quarterly group reporting for submission.
  • To complete the periodic VAT returns for review and submission.
  • To support and liaise with our tax advisors in tax related matters to ensure we can implement and drive tax savings.
