Purpose of the Role

The Financial Accountant will be a key member of the Financial Control team – participating fully in all areas of financial control and compliance with a particular focus on financial reporting and technical accounting.

Person Specification
  • Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA.
  • Strong grounding in technical accounting and control.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive problem solver who thrives on improving processes and resolving issues.
  • Consistent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination of fixed asset accounting and reconciliation.
  • IFRS16 lease accounting.
  • Preparation and change control of statutory accounts.
  • Drive high‑quality, timely balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues proactively.
  • Support external and internal audit processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on accounting standards, company law and HMRC regulations, and share relevant updates across the business.
