Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven business development professional to promote and sell the company’s bathroom products to premium bathroom showrooms, buying groups (Fortis NBG) within South England and London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking team and make a meaningful impact in a growing market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive retail development strategies to drive growth and meet sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and target markets.
  • Showroom Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities for new showroom locations or partnerships, and coordinate their successful implementation with internal teams.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Pitch products and services to potential clients, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to drive revenue growth.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and market data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective strategies.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement in‑store and online marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and merchandise displays.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Key Skills / Experience Required
  • The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience selling to the premium bathroom showrooms within South England and London.
  • This role is heavily reliant on cultivating and maintaining strong, trust‑based relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Active listening and a customer‑centric approach are essential.
  • Existing network within retail showroom sector is preferable.
  • Technical knowledge of bathroom products and plumbing systems.
  • Ultimately, a desirable candidate is an entrepreneurial, results‑driven professional with excellent communication skills who can bring innovative ideas and a structured, methodical approach to driving sustainable business growth.
