Overview

The Finance team manages TEAM's internal accounting and financial operations. From budgeting and forecasting to financial reporting and compliance, the team provides the insights and controls needed to guide informed decision-making and ensure the long-term financial health of the organisation.

Responsibilities

The role

As a Finance & Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the financial operations of the TEAM UK entity. You will ensure accurate payroll, month-end closing and expense management, while overseeing Accounts Payable processes. In addition, you will act as the main point of contact for finance and accounting matters in the UK, working closely with the Finance team in Lucerne, Switzerland.

  • Payroll Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of the TEAM UK payroll in compliance with UK regulations, including correct application of benefits, pension contributions and statutory leave and pay. Oversee monthly payroll inputs such as new joiners, leavers, salary changes and bonuses.
  • Monthly/Yearly Closing: Oversee and execute the monthly/yearly closing process for the TEAM UK entity, including the preparation of payments and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Expense Management: Manage TEAM UK expenses, including review, approval and accurate posting in line with internal policies.
  • Accounts Payable: Ensure efficient and accurate AP procedures, including invoice processing, vendor management and timely payments.
  • Internal Support: Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and management on finance, expenses and accounting-related queries.
  • Compliance & Processes: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and internal control procedures.
  • Budget process: Support and coordinate the budgeting process for TEAM UK.
Qualifications

You hold a professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and bring experience in accounting, payroll and UK compliance matters, ideally gained within an international organisation.

You demonstrate the ability to:

  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively, even when working to tight deadlines.
  • Apply a solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes in your work.
  • Use Microsoft Excel confidently and work with bookkeeping programs (e.g. SAP or Business Central) to support accurate reporting and compliance.

The position will be based at TEAM's office in London, UK and will involve some international travel.
