An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Finance Operations Team for a Finance Operations Senior. This position entails overseeing finance administration and taking on additional temporary responsibilities at our Peterborough office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, improving processes, and ensuring the smooth running of day‑to‑day financial operations.
This is a full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) with a hybrid model that combines home and office‑based working. The successful candidate must be able to commute to our Peterborough office, which will be your contractual workplace, and is expected to attend the office at least two days per week.
As a Finance Operations Senior you will lead and support a small team responsible for preparing and managing cheques and cash, handling email communications, and processing ad hoc financial requests. You will play a key role in training and developing team members, conducting My Mencap Reviews, and driving continuous improvement across the team’s activities.
