Job summary

A charity organization in Belfast is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the Finance function. The successful candidate will have significant accounting qualifications and relevant experience in financial management. This is a permanent position offering a Senior Manager Scale salary discussed at the interview. The closing date for applications is August 24, 2018.

Qualifications

  • Qualified ACA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of best practice accounting, including the preparation of management and financial accounts.
  • Experience working for an organisation with a turnover in excess of £1.5 million.

  • Responsible for the overall management of the Finance function.
  • Safeguarding and review of finances to meet regulatory requirements.

Skills

Location: Belfast, Newtownbreda.

Hours: 40 hours, Monday – Friday.

Contract: Permanent.

Remuneration: Senior Manager Scale, discussed at interview.

Qualifications
  • Qualified ACA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of best practice accounting, including the preparation of management and financial accounts.
  • Experience working for an organisation with a turnover in excess of £1.5 million.
  • Good working knowledge of financial management and procedures.
  • Experience of costing and managing business contracts.
  • Safeguarding and review of finances to meet regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • Experience of People Management.
