The Company

Our client is a successful manufacturing business. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Finance Manager.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will lead finance activities across the business, with responsibility for:

  • Tax returns, VAT submissions and other statutory accounting
  • Reconciliations, journals, month end and year end accounts, including filing
  • Compliance and auditing
  • Cash management and forecasting
  • Monthly forecasting and financial submissions
  • Managing certifications
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Reviewing and delivering improvements to existing process and practices
The Candidate

To be considered for the role of Finance Manager, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • ACCA, ACA OR CIMA qualified
  • Alternatively, part qualified, but operating at this level
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Advanced spreadsheet knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good understanding of statutory frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A collaborative team player
