A respected manufacturing business in Doncaster is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and manage a small finance team. The ideal candidate should be professionally qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience, with strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude. Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with a successful and well-regarded manufacturing business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a Finance Manager.
This is a hands-on finance role reporting directly into the Company Director and will include responsibility for one other member of the team. The business is happy to consider applicants looking for either full-time or part-time hours (3–4 days per week).

This is a varied and rounded Finance Manager role with key responsibilities including:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Cashflow forecasting and monitoring
Month-end reporting and financial analysis
Oversight of day-to-day financial operations
Monitoring business costs and supporting cost control
Business partnering with commercial, production, and operational teams
Managing bank reconciliations
Overseeing VAT returns and liaising with external accountants at year-end
Coordinating monthly payroll data and managing employee expenses
Ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Professionally qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or Qualified by Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar sector
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to manage and support a small team
Proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally across a business
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
