Job description

CMC Consulting are partnering with a leading care home group on an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to take ownership of financial operations across multiple sites. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, responsible for driving financial performance. The successful candidate will lead a talented finance team, strengthen controls, and play a key part in shaping the financial direction of the business.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Consolidate financial performance across multiple care home sites and present clear, actionable insights to senior management.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee all finance operations, including transactional finance.
  • Maintain and strengthen robust internal controls, accounting processes, and audit readiness.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth year-end process.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support operational decision-making and business planning.
  • Partner with non-finance teams to promote financial accountability and efficiency.
  • Oversee a small team ensuring accuracy of accounts process.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Fully qualified or finalist (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
