Job Description

This role involves managing core financial functions such as accounts payable/receivable, tax, audit, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to lead and develop a team.

Key requirements for the position include:

  • Strong experience in tax compliance/planning
  • Expertise in financial controls/risk
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting/cost control
  • Leadership and development of a small finance function
  • Financial strategy
  • Cashflow and treasury management
  • External stakeholder management, banks, auditors, etc.
The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar sized global business and be comfortable in a matrix structured environment reporting into the Group CFO and interaction with Global CEO.

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including team leadership. Working experiences in accounting firms or similar industry are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing practices and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred)
  • Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
