• Advanced accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
• Direct experience within a logistics or transport environment.
• Operational finance background with hands-on leadership ability.
• Good working knowledge of Sage.
• A track record of improving reporting, systems and financial processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and commercial skills.
• Ability to work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across all financial and commercial matters.
• Ensure strong financial compliance and controls.
• Lead and develop the finance function of around ten people.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, insurers and advisors.
• Produce accurate and timely monthly accounts.
• Lead annual budgets, forecasts and company-wide financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
• Develop costing models to support profitability analysis.

The Role

AsFinanceDirectorandmemberoftheSeniorManagementTeam,youwillprovidestrategicleadershipacrossallfinancialandcommercialmatters.Youwilltakefullownershipofgroupreporting,budgeting,forecastingandfinancialgovernance,whiledevelopingahighperformingfinancefunction.

Experience & Profile
