Description

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays an integral role supporting the business in making educated business decisions. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys exploring the latest data analysis techniques, someone who wants to get involved in commercial business development support and is looking for a challenge. The role will provide you with commercial exposure to all functions. You will play a key role in business partnering with consulting teams to produce valuable insights and to support business recommendations, taking ownership of the financial reporting.

Your New Role
  • Own the Consulting capabilities annual budget, supporting the Managing Partner submissions. Submitting final numbers into the Davies Group finance deliverables.
  • Analyse trends and key drivers in business, suggesting solutions to mitigate risk and accelerate opportunities.
  • Produce short-term and medium-term business forecasts & budgets and performance reports supported by insightful commentary on variances.
  • Produce valuable MI to businesses, including SLT and board reporting.
  • Produce capability performance reports, including margin and pricing analysis, supporting new bids and M&A activities where appropriate.
  • Perform detailed revenue and gross margin analysis by understanding and communicating to the Managing Partners any leakage based on the capability utilisation reports and ongoing resourcing demands including cost rate analysis (unbilled allocation analysis, with capability support)
  • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Identify process improvements within the FP&A function, including getting best use from current and future finance systems.
  • Be an expert and excel, understanding modelling techniques, and how to leverage data tools such as PowerBI.
  • Provide in-depth pipeline analysis to support growth strategies
  • Implement and lead analysis return on investment/investment appraisals (capex). Highlighting key drivers & risks to senior management.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the business team whenever required.
