Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency in Manchester seeks a Finance Business Partner to manage financial operations and lead change within the NHS environment. The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Accountancy qualification (CCAB, CIMA) and have experience in a complex multi-disciplinary setting. Qualifications

Essential criteria:

  • Professional Accountancy qualification (CCAB, CIMA) with current membership registration.
  • Demonstrable post qualification development and achievement of CPD.
  • ECDL or equivalent IT Skills.

Desirable criteria:

  • MBA or similar.
Knowledge

Essential criteria:

  • Understanding of the NHS, its infrastructure and partner organisations.
  • Ability to understand and interpret Department of Health Guidelines.
  • Grant / Project accounting and reporting (e.g. OLS, HIN, PSC). This can be in any public or private sector setting.

Desirable criteria:

  • Understanding of the wider NHS Management and Modernisation Agenda.
  • Understanding of OLS / HIN / PSC national programmes
Experience

Essential criteria:

  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary, complex environment.
  • Experience in leading change management regimes in a complex environment.

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience of working in the NHS or innovation sector.
  • Use of Integra financial ledger.

Essential criteria:

  • Able to use written communication to present relevant information in a concise format.
  • Ability to engage verbally and effectively with disciplines at all levels within the organisation.
