TfGM is seeking an accountant to support the organisation through an exciting period of change. Alongside traditional transport construction projects and programmes, such as Rail access and Metrolink, we are now delivering a range of emerging priorities including easing congestion, promoting active travel, and supporting the government's 'local agenda'.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and delivery of a diverse range of new and existing projects that shape Greater Manchester's strategic priorities. You’ll work closely with project stakeholders to provide financial insight, support decision‑making, and identify financial risks and opportunities.

We are seeking two skilled and committed finance professionals to join our supportive and collaborative team as a Revenue & Capital Accountant during this exciting time.
Working as part of the Infrastructure Pipeline Finance team, within the wider TfGM Finance and Corporate directorate, you’ll be the first point of contact for your stakeholders (both Finance and Non‑Finance colleagues) in the delivery of projects that make a real difference to both the regional and national economy.

What we’re looking for:
We have two roles available. One is a permanent position, the other is a fixed‑term role for 12 months. Please make it clear in your application which your preference would be. These posts come with a salary of £47,539‑£52,866 per annum depending on skills and experience.
