Finance Business Partner

Location: Leeds (hybrid working)

EXCLUSIVE ASSIGNMENT

Sellick partnership has been engaged to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a successful and instantly recognisable PE backed business based in Leeds.

This is a truly great commercial and value adding role where you are able to immerse yourself within the company and gain great exposure at a key time in their strategic plan.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver clear and robust value add reporting and insights to the Operations team and field business partners, driving performance improving actions and decision making.
  • Model complex problems and business scenarios and deliver compelling storytelling across performance reporting.
  • Build, engage and deliver the Strategic Finance Plan, Budgets and Forecasts for the supported area through quality stakeholder management.

Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA)
  • Open to candidates moving from practice (top4) or from a similar commercial analyst role
  • Ambitious and proactive with a strong commercial focus and ability to build robust relationships, providing support and challenge across functions and liaising with senior management
  • Strong analytical, business partnering and influencing skills; capable of problem solving and delivering in pressurised environments with multiple deadlines
  • Creative and innovative approach to analysis; delivery oriented and able to manage priorities
  • Good communication skills; able to translate financial information and build successful business relationships
  • Ability to take a big-picture view with internal consultancy and influencing skills, while also attending to detail
