Job description

A well-established and reputable business based in Driffield is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities
  • Delivering detailed financial analysis and performance insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partnering closely with the Rental Divisional Director on projects, providing challenge, guidance, and robust financial support.
  • Preparing and managing budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Producing high-quality financial reports, including cost analysis, variances, and project reporting.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, offering clear and concise financial updates.
  • Identifying and assessing financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate any concerns.
  • Driving process improvements and embedding best practice across project and financial workflows.
  • Ensuring full compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Full accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • At least 5 years' experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong financial analysis and financial modelling capability, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with the confidence to challenge, problem-solve, and drive improvements.
