A defense contracting company is seeking a Finance Business Partner to manage finances for the Netherlands Ministry of Defence contract. The role involves accurate forecasting and reporting, as well as supporting project financial performance. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience and preferably hold a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification. As our Finance Business Partner, you’ll be an important part of the team, ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of the Netherlands Ministry of Defence contract for G3 Systems Ltd. You’ll help keep our WTB Programme on track by managing finances, cash flow and supporting the achievement of key project milestones.
This full-time position is offered on a two-year fixed-term contract, with a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.
The Finance Business Partner will report to G3 Systems’ Finance Controller and provide comprehensive financial support, and both statutory and MI reporting across all phases of the project delivery lifecycle. You will work closely and act as a Finance Business Partner with the Project Manager and wider Programme team, undertaking the financial reporting aligned with the management reporting calendar together with calculation of required adjustments, WIP and budgeting.
You’ll be based mainly at our Osprey Quay, Portland offices (Dorset), fully embedded within the WTB Project Manager and our wider Programme Management Team to support financial performance. Together, we’ll make sure all commercial project milestones are completed on time and to a high standard. There may be some short-term international travel within Europe, but we’ll discuss this together and make sure it works for you.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and initiative, prepared to champion financial compliance, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, challenge management and take ownership. A driven mindset and the ability to work independently without constant supervision are essential for success in this role.
