Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of selected cost centres and balance sheet codes.
  • Post and evidence monthly accruals, prepayments, and journals.
  • Analyse costs versus budgets and report key variances.
  • Process company expenses and credit card transactions.
  • Code expenditure invoices via a data capture system.
  • Conduct aged creditor reviews and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting and reforecasting activities.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end deadlines.
  • Handle ad hoc finance tasks as needed.

Finance Assistant - Expenditure

Are you ready to join one of the UK's fastest-growing privately owned companies? With over 200 locations nationwide and a reputation for excellence, our client is expanding their Head Office team in Plymouth and looking for a talented Finance Assistant to support their continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of selected cost centres and balance sheet codes
  • Post and evidence monthly accruals, prepayments, and journals
