Oasis Community Learning is seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Regional Finance Assistant to support the financial operations across academies within the North West region. Based at Oasis Academy Clarksfield, this vital role ensures accurate financial processing and contributes to effective management of our educational communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase requisitions and invoices, ensuring compliance with budget approvals and delegation schemes.
  • Maintain accurate records of expenditure, income, and VAT coding across purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Prepare BACs payment runs and manage supplier statements and queries.
  • Support bank account transactions, including dinner money, trips, and payment requests.
  • Assist with petty cash, credit card returns, and prepayment tracking.
  • Post journals and recode payroll expenses to ensure proper VAT recovery.
  • Liaise with academy‑based staff to ensure timely and accurate financial data.
Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE level (A‑C in English and Maths) or equivalent.
  • Experience using accounting software in a finance environment.
  • Organised, accurate, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Honest, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
