About Our Client

This role is with a small-sized business in the South Leicestershire area with free, onsite parking.

Job Description

The Finance Administrator's duties will include but are not limited to:

  • All Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger postings.
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations.
  • Weekly Submissions to a Sales Invoice Finance provider.
  • Control of small petty cash transactions.
  • Preparation and bank submission of all weekly payments.
  • Supporting Excel documents in relation to all of the above.
  • Various Month End procedures.
  • Assisting with audit preparation and assist in dealing with visiting auditors.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Administrator will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in similar finance role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
