Job description

My client, specialising in technical support for the automotive Industry, are experiencing rapid growth, and due to this, are looking for a Field Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Function

• Primary focus will be to support Sales and customer relations, working closely with customers to understand their requirements from an ADAS perspective.
• You will be required to work from a schedule of work, visiting repair shops across your dedicated area of the UK, In this instance across South Yorkshire
• Role will include installation, as well as training the customer and conformity checks on a regular basis.
• Performing all necessary diagnostic tests.

Requirements

• A granular understanding of ADAS across multiple OEMs
• Proficient in identification of faults on vehicles, module corrections, error messages etc
• OEM scan tool and / or aftermarket scan tool experience and knowledge.
• Experience of performing necessary diagnostic tests and have experience of working on ADAS systems, mobile OR in a workshop.
• Two years of car dealership experience OR experience in an aftermarket repair facility as an automotive technician
• Strong Automotive mechanical and electrical diagnosis, problem solving and repair experience
• Strong computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office and web application software
• Clean driving licence

There may be a requirement for an overnight stay, dependant on workshop location at times. All expenses will be covered.
