• Perform operations and maintenance duties across the portfolio of solar and battery storage sites.
• Adhere to all HSE requirements when completing duties.
• Test both DC and AC systems, identify faults, and trace issues.
• Conduct firmware updates and use computer systems to diagnose asset issues.
• Carry out consistent inspection, maintenance and testing of systems.
• Identify trends and use data analysis to spot common issues and suggest operational improvements.
• Assist with tasks such as solar panel cleaning and some ground maintenance.

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a key business and influential player in the global energy market. The company has a vast portfolio of renewable energy assets and a company culture focused on looking after their employees. We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Electrician to join the team to cover different technologies in renewable energy across Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Field Service Team Leader.
• Ensure the best performance of large-scale renewable energy assets.
• Perform operations and maintenance duties across the portfolio of solar and battery storage sites.
• Adhere to all HSE requirements when completing duties.
• Test both DC and AC systems, identify faults, and trace issues.
• Conduct firmware updates and use computer systems to diagnose asset issues.
• Carry out consistent inspection, maintenance and testing of systems.

• Occasional assistance with tasks such as solar panel cleaning, some ground maintenance and site CCTV.
• Occasional travel outside your usual patch/area to support business needs.
