Job Title: Field Service Manager

Location: UK Wide - Remote & Hybrid (site visits)

Salary: £60 - £65,000 per annum plus Bonus & Benefits

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Global Engineering Business.

Within a Senior Position, managing multiple teams of Field Service Engineers across the UK.

You can be based anywhere, with multiple Sites and offices around the UK, you can pick an office or work remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of between 10 -15 Field Service Engineers
  • Makes customers a high priority, shows interest in and understanding of their needs and maintains effective relationships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Projects and Service to manage escalations and drive customer satisfaction
  • Manage the utilisation of the engineers in an efficient and effective manner, maximising chargeable hours wherever possible.
  • Assist in the definition of service scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Support in the scheduling and co-ordination of works with customers, based on appropriate skill sets, ensuring the timely completion of service work at high customer quality standards
  • Provide on-site supervision of Field Service Engineers (when required)
  • Lead, coach, and develop the service team, fostering cross-training.
  • Training & development: Lead on the FSE’s training plan by identifying gaps in skill set requirements.
  • Develop effective tools to improve resource planning and identify capacity gaps
