Qualifications

• An electronic or mechanical engineering qualification, BTEC, HNC etc.
• An IT/computer science qualification preferred.
• Experience working with instrumentation, ideally in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with IT information systems, preferably in a hospital environment.
• A keen interest in medical diagnostics and associated products.

Responsibilities

• On-site instrument maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Telephone and hotline support for instrument issues.
• Instrument installation and decommissioning.
• Installation & support of laboratory IT/network solutions.
• Act as a point of contact for all instrument-related enquiries.
• Train customers and colleagues in the use of our instruments.
• Monitor own spare parts inventory.
• Completion of all admin requirements in line with company policies.
• Visit customers regularly.
