Overview

Field Service Engineer – Location: Alton, Hampshire Area. Salary: £39,(Apply online only) - £42,(Apply online only) + Overtime. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm. Perks: Company Van + fuel provided.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Conquip. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing Conquip OEM equipment, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to sites across the UK (mainly South-East, though wider travel and occasional nights away may be required).
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and set-up of Conquip OEM equipment (primarily non-mechanical static plant and machinery).
  • Undertake occasional welding work as required.
  • Complete daily work records for your line manager in After Sales and secure customer sign-off on completed tasks.
  • Work proactively with customers to confirm site arrival times and job scheduling.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all lifting equipment on site, ensuring compliance with LOLER regulations and signing off equipment on behalf of Conquip.
  • Maintain your company vehicle, including defect checks, stock management, fuelling, and cleanliness.
  • Represent Conquip in a professional manner when dealing with site personnel at all levels.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work with a focus on safety and output.
  • Holds a valid LOLER qualification / Worked to LOLER standards.
  • Holds a valid CSCS card.
  • Able to follow manager feedback and work within set processes.
