Field Service Engineer

Field based, covering a nationwide patch. Ideal candidate located within a commutable distance of Tamworth, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham (East/North), Nuneaton, Hinckley, Atherstone, or Burton upon Trent.

£41,000 OTE (£50k) + Mon-Thu (7.30am-4.45pm) + Early Finish Fri (7am-12pm) + Target Bonus (up to 10k) + stay away + Pension + 28 Days Holiday + Profit Share Scheme + Healthcare After 2 Years

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer or multi skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a long-term career with excellent overtime potential, strong progression, and full product training within a specialist engineering manufacturer?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering business with over 30 years of success, known for producing high quality technical equipment and investing heavily in the development of their engineers.

You will join a supportive service team responsible for maintaining, servicing, and installing specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK, with occasional overseas visits.

With strong internal development and a stable, long-term working environment, this is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys travel, problem solving, and working directly with customers.

This position would suit a time served engineer with experience in electrical and pneumatic systems who is looking for a field-based role with strong earning potential, varied daily tasks, and long-term security. Full product training will be provided.

The Role:

• Service, maintenance, installation and calibration of specialist engineering equipment across UK customer sites
• Provide technical support via phone and email, manage customer schedules, quotes and site documentation
• Occasional overseas travel, plus internal support in production when required

The Person:

• Experience with electrical and pneumatic systems, with strong hands‑on engineering skills
• Excellent customer facing communication skills and the ability to problem solve independently
• A full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
