Overview

Field Service Engineer Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing national organisation, renowned for its expertise in the servicing and repair of commercial floor-cleaning equipment. With the recent award of significant contracts within the retail sector, they are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to strengthen their dedicated retail division and support continued business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate service visits within the high street food retail sector, ensuring alignment with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Carry out timely follow-up visits to complete repairs once required parts have been supplied.
  • Conduct scheduled Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional standards of service, ensuring all machinery repairs are completed to the highest quality.
  • Work in full compliance with the company's health, safety, and safe working practices.
  • Accurately record all work undertaken and manage parts ordering through the company's internal systems.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure the company vehicle remains clean, well-organised, and presentable at all times.
  • Take part in the weekend rota (Saturdays) on a one-in-four basis.
Experience
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
  • Field service experience
  • Full driving licence
