Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and automation systems at client sites across the UK and overseas. This is a hands‑on role requiring technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain industrial CNC machinery and automation systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software faults on‑site.
  • Work from technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Provide excellent customer service at client locations.
  • Assist with upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic discipline.
  • Proven experience as a field service engineer.
  • Experience working with CNC machinery or similar.
  • Strong problem‑solving, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites.
