Service Engineer - Mechanical Power Transmission

Field-Based – Midlands – Full-Time – Occasional Overnight Travel

We're looking for a Multi‑Skilled Service Engineer to join a specialist team delivering on‑site service and maintenance for high‑performance mechanical power transmission systems.

This is a field‑based role covering the Midlands and Solihull, with most travel within commutable distance. However, occasional overnight stays (typically 2–3 nights) will be required to support clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical power transmission systems at client sites.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on high‑speed rotating equipment, including driveshafts, motors, gear couplings, and spindles.
  • Work independently and liaise with internal engineering teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate service records and adhere to health and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Solid experience working with high‑speed rotating machinery.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work effectively on‑site.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally.
  • Full UK driving licence.
