Field Sales Manager - Agricultural Machinery
Location: Reading Area
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a driven and professional Field Sales Manager to join my client's growing team in the Reading area. With a strong heritage in agricultural machinery and continued investment in growth, we offer a progressive and structured environment to support your development and success in the field.

This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone with a background in agricultural sales or hands-on farming experience, who is confident building relationships and demonstrating premium machinery to a wide customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selling and demonstrating a range of premium-brand agricultural machinery across a defined territory
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with farmers and contractors
  • Providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs and working closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Managing the full sales process from initial enquiry to final delivery and aftersales support
  • Keeping up to date with new products, services, and industry trends
  • Representing the business at trade shows, open days, and demonstrations
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong understanding of agricultural practices and machinery
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with farmers, contractors, and colleagues
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive and professional approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working under pressure during peak seasons
  • Basic IT skills (iPad/laptop provided)
