Overview

This great organisation have an exciting opportunity for a Field / Customer Engineer to join their dynamic team. FULL TRAINING will be given.

The role will be to look after and work in and around the Chester and North Wales region.

Experience mending white goods has great transferable skills for this role and equally, a good level of mechanical / electrical aptitude is ideal for this position.

Also, If you have experience in and enjoy general PC hardware and software maintenance, working with Windows operating systems or generally enjoy taking things apart, mending and putting back together again this could be a great opportunity for you.

The role would suit an individual who is looking to advance their career in engineering/IT and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing faults, make repairs and to replace modules on ATM's.
  • Installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and a high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Take responsibility and ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction and in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements
Candidate requirements
  • Able to work on your own with minimal supervision and to be able to manage your time effectively and pro-actively
  • Good level of mechanical / electrical aptitude
  • Experience preferred with Windows operating systems
  • Experience is preferred in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge. but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Enjoys taking things apart and putting back together
  • Have good problem solving skills
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence

There are shifts patterns which are very reasonable and are listed below.

5 days working, 2 days off, with a day off either side if working over the weekend.

Typical shift hours are:

  • 8am - 5pm
  • 9.30am - 6pm
  • 12pm - 9pm

This role comes with a company vehicle which can be used for personal use and a fuel card.

Tools/laptop/Android phone and all other required tools are provided

Uniform and PPE are also provided
