The role includes managing suppliers, conducting audits, and resolving local access issues. Candidates should have experience with civils or cable gangs, relevant safety certifications, and excellent problem-solving skills. This full-time position covers the Midlands region, offering benefits like 34 days holiday and a company pension scheme.
We are looking for a Field Compliance Supervisor now as part of our Technical Infrastructure Services division of Network Services. This is a field based role that will see you travel on site across the Midlands region.
The Field Compliance Supervisor will be responsible for the Openreach Fibre Build Networks contract deliverables ensuring these are delivered as planned by Telent and its partners/suppliers. This includes confirmations of resources on site, dealing with any in‑life real‑time issues and flagging any requirements for "jeopardy management". You will see all programmed works on‑site through to completion, meeting set KPI's and SLA's.
As the Field Compliance Supervisor, you will support Civils & Fibre gangs employed by Telent's suppliers locally to ensure all safety, compliance and quality standards are being met through a defined audit and inspection regime as set out by the Infrastructure Services business. The Field Compliance Supervisor will ensure compliancy of works across Cabling, Poling, Civils and again, the Fibre Build itself. The area to be covered is the Midlands.
You will be Telent's customer ambassador in the field assisting all contract deliveries by enabling the programming of all works in the Telent workstack through the resolution of access and fluidity issues.
You are a skilled Field Compliance Supervisor with experience overseeing civils, poling, or cable/cabling gangs in the highways networks or telecoms networks sectors. You're confident in managing field-based operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Your strong problem‑solving skills help you resolve access issues and ensure smooth project delivery. With key certifications like NOPS (Networks Operative Passport Scheme), NRSWA Supervisor Level and SA001A, you're ready to contribute to the success of Telent's Fibre Build Programme across the Midlands. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working with suppliers, local authorities, and the project team to meet delivery goals.
Full‑time. Location: Sheffield, covering the Midlands region. Travel to Chorley and other UK locations may be required.
Telent Core Values: Be Collaborative, Be Inclusive, Be Customer Focused, Take Responsibility.
