Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounting and good knowledge of all accounting routines including reconciliations.

Accounts Assistant

Ferrari Egham has a fantastic opportunity to join the Sytner team as an Accounts Assistant. You will support the day‑to‑day functions of the accounts department, from the sales and purchase ledgers to daily cash postings and bank reconciliations.

You will assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad‑hoc duties where required and will occasionally work weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible level of service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain sales and purchase ledgers and perform daily cash postings.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and produce bank reconciliation statements.
  • Prepare month‑end reconciliations and support month‑end closing activities.
  • Assist with stock checks and other ad‑hoc accounting duties.
  • Provide support to the Dealership Accountant and Management team as requested.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience and a good working knowledge of all accounting routines, including stock checks and month‑end reconciliations, are essential.
  • Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic, well‑organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a small team.
