FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER
Work with Walsingham and make a real difference to people\'s lives. Walsingham Support has been operating across England and Wales since 1986. We enhance the lives of people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. We pride ourselves on putting the people we support at the centre of everything we do, delivering specifically tailored support for every individual we work with.
As a valued member of our team, each Support Worker helps deliver the quality-of-life people with disabilities deserve by supporting our service users to reach their full potential. You will help ensure care is high quality and person-centred, tailored to each individual\'s needs and lifestyle. You will also help maintain a high-quality environment for those we support. You will work from a care plan, helping with day-to-day living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, emotional support, social interaction and community activity visits.
We believe in an accessible and fair recruitment process. As part of your interview preparation, we will provide the interview questions in advance so you feel confident and ready to showcase your skills and passion.
Pound Farms accommodation is set within the beautiful Ross-on-Wye countryside. The service has extensive grounds and a large communal garden. We support 15 individuals, aged between 20-60 with mild to moderate learning disabilities across two main buildings that are divided into flats.
Working for a charity offers benefits such as a sense of purpose, social impact, diverse and inclusive environment, opportunities for skill development, community engagement, flexibility, passion-driven work, positive workplace culture, and stability since surplus funds go back into care rather than directors\' bonuses.
There is no requirement for prior experience to join as a Support Worker; training is provided. The role involves building genuine relationships with the people you care for and providing day-to-day support as described above.
