We’re seeking a Family Time Worker to support children and their families through safe, supportive, and therapeutic family time sessions. Working part-time within Staffordshire’s Families and Communities service, this role is perfect for someone who values work-life balance while still making a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

Arrange and supervise family time between children and parents / relatives, as directed by the court.

Offer guidance and support to parents, encouraging positive parenting and safe family interaction.

Record detailed session notes and observations to support care planning.

Provide transport for children to attend family time sessions when required.

Work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, to meet families’ needs.

About You

Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in working with children and families.

Have direct experience working with children and families in supportive or safeguarding environments.

Be empathetic, patient, and resilient, with an understanding of trauma and child development.

Have excellent communication and record-keeping skills.

Hold a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
