With Offices in Sheffield - Doncaster - Derby - Gloucester and Chippenham

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent - Onsite with Hybrid Option

Job Summary

We’re working with a well-regarded law firm, currently seeking a talented Family Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can manage their own caseload with minimal supervision and is looking to further their career in a progressive and client-focused environment.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have broad experience across Family Law (excluding Public Child Care Law), and should be comfortable undertaking their own advocacy at initial hearings and directions appointments.

You’ll primarily be advising privately funded clients, though there will also be some Legal Aid work. A good working knowledge of key areas of family law is essential, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Private Law Children Act matters
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Injunctions
  • Cohabitation disputes

This is a role for a self‑motivated, organised individual with strong communication and client care skills. You’ll be working closely with the Family Partner, who will provide support and input when needed, while also having the opportunity to contribute to the growth and direction of the department.
