Job summary

A family law practice in the heart of Leicester is seeking a dedicated Family Law Solicitor. You will handle a varied caseload including divorce, financial remedies, and private child matters. This role is suitable for both experienced solicitors and juniors (12 years PQE). Training will be provided. A strong interest in family law, excellent communication skills, and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience or strong interest in family law (divorce, finances, and children cases).
  • Ability to manage your own workload.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a varied caseload covering divorce and separation matters.

We have a incredible opportunity to join a small, friendly, and supportive family law practice based in the heart of Leicester.

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Solicitor to join our team. You will handle a varied caseload covering :

Caseload
  • Divorce and separation matters
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Private Children Act applications
  • Cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements

This role would suit either an experienced solicitor or a junior solicitor (12 years PQE) looking to further their career in family law. Training and mentoring will be provided where required.

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (minimum 1 year PQE)
  • Experience or strong interest in family law (divorce, finances, and children cases)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage your own workload with attention to detail and empathy
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required for client visits and court attendance)
