A community-focused charity in Sunderland is looking for a Family Learning Tutor specializing in food education. This role involves engaging adults and families through both accredited and non-accredited programs. The successful candidate will deliver practical food education sessions across diverse settings, creating impactful learning experiences. The Foundation is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfil the exciting role of Family Learning Tutor (Food Education Specialism) as part of the Belonging and Social Connectivity Team.
Through our pioneering facility, the Beacon of Light, it is the Foundation’s ambition to develop the education, employability and skills pathways for adults and families across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham through quality delivery.
Working with the Belonging and Social Connectivity team, you will deliver on Adult and Family Learning Programmes, engaging a wide range of adults and families in accredited and non‑accredited food education provision.
You will have the ability to engage families, delivering formal and informal practical food education sessions to diverse groups of adults and families in a range of settings including schools and other community venues.
The base for the post is the Beacon of Light, with delivery across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham.
