Job description

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced lawyer to join our Family Team.

Head of Team, Daniel Sanders, and fellow Partner Lindsay Halliwell, lead a team that brings together divorce and financial settlement specialists, expert mediators, and child law practitioners. Their complementary styles, shared commitment to constructive solutions for clients, and focus on developing and mentoring the team, make it one of the most respected family teams on the South coast.

The team has grown significantly recently and consists of Daniel, Lindsay, a Senior Associate, an Associate, a Solicitor, a Chartered Legal Executive, and two Legal Secretaries, with a third Legal Secretary currently being recruited.

Who we are looking for

You’ll be an experienced Family Law Associate, Senior Associate, or Partner undertaking Financial Remedy, Private Children, and ideally TOLATA work. You should:

  • Be highly competent in delivering your expertise;
  • Have a proven track record of managing a busy and varied caseload, including technical and factual complexities;
  • Enjoy business development activities, promoting the team’s work, and winning new cases;
  • Be excited to work in a supportive and open team environment and to develop and mentor junior team members;
  • Ideally have an interest in training as a mediator or already be trained in mediation or another ADR method.

You should also demonstrate strong organisational skills, initiative, and a growth mindset.

This is an exciting time to join one of the region’s most dynamic and supportive Family Teams, offering an excellent opportunity to build your career with us.
