Salary: Grade 7 £32,597 to £37,280 per year

Location: Church Square House, Scunthorpe

Hours: 37 hours per week

DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

About the Role

As a Family Intervention Worker within the One Family Approach, you will play a vital role in supporting families with complex needs. You will work directly with children, young people, and their families to identify strengths, reduce risks, and help them achieve positive outcomes. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires creativity, resilience, and a commitment to trauma-informed practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted interventions to families experiencing multiple challenges, including housing, education, health, and safeguarding concerns.
  • Build strong relationships with families to understand their needs and co-produce support plans.
  • Work in partnership with professionals across health, education, social care, and the voluntary sector.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-agency meetings and reviews.
  • Promote the values of the One Family Approach, ensuring that services are inclusive, respectful, and empowering.

  • Has experience working with children and families in a community or statutory setting.
