Salary

£56,766+ dependant on skills and experience

What you'll be doing
  • You will oversee the readiness of the team's response to security incidents.
  • Monitor performance of allocated staff in order to ensure that work is carried out effectively. You will provide on‑the‑job technical advice to new team members around tasks and act as a supervisor and coach/mentor to all new team members.
  • Ensure you liaise with government regulators to refine requirements, frameworks and operational criteria ensuring this is communicated to FalconWorks and its entities.
  • Support FalconWorks programmes and sites to produce accurate threat assessments and operational requirements.
  • You will be required to support the security culture, behaviours and communications by raising security awareness among employees and management in the local area and modelling behaviours that demonstrate BAE Systems values.
  • You may also have people manager responsibilities in this role.
Your skills and experiences
Essential
  • Suitably qualified by experience having demonstrable security managerial background.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Experience of working within government security policies.
Desirable
  • Relevant security qualification.
