Permanent Contract – 1.0 FTE – Required from 1st September 2026

Salary L5 to L7 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join our thriving Art, Design & Technology Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist in Design & Technology or Food & Nutrition to shape a vibrant, creative curriculum and drive excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will combine exceptional subject expertise, innovative thinking, and strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire both staff and students. You will lead a committed team and play a key role as a member of the Extended Leadership Team, contributing to whole school priorities and improvement.

Applicants Must:
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, specialising in Design & Technology or Food & Nutrition.
  • Have an ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
  • Have high expectations of students’ learning, progress and behaviour.
  • Be able to deliver an inspiring, ambitious and well sequenced curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
  • Bring creativity, innovation and commitment to promoting enterprise, problem solving and practical skills.
  • Be committed to contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, trips, and clubs.
