Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Leeds is seeking a Factory Technical Manager to lead the QA team. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of GMP and food safety are maintained, while updating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). Ideal applicants will have experience in high care food manufacturing, knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards, and the ability to drive quality and safety standards. MorePeople are working with an established food business in Leeds that manufactures premium products for some of the top tier retailers who is looking for a Factory Technical Manager to join their Technical team.

Responsibilities

In this Factory Technical Manager position you will lead the QA team and be responsible for delivering high levels of GMP, food safety and integrity standards within the factory. You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the QMS, conduct audits and ensure any corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications

As the ideal candidate for this Factory Technical Manager position you will have experience of leading and developing a QA team within a high care food manufacturing environment, knowledge and experience of HACCP, BRC and retailer standards coupled with a drive to deliver the highest standards of food quality, safety and integrity.
