A leading healthcare provider in Gillingham is looking for a Facilities Supervisor. The role involves supervising daily operational services of the trust, ensuring customer-focused service delivery, and supporting the Facilities Team Leader. To supervise the day-to-day operational services of the Medway NHS Foundation Trusts Waste & Transport Departments.
The post holders will be designated an area/areas of main responsibility, but will be required to maintain operational knowledge of all the services detailed below so that to ensure smooth transitions between Logistic services, and to provide cover during leave and absenteeism.
The primary responsibility/duty is to supervise all aspects of the daily operations of the area/areas of responsibility, by providing an excellent customer focused service, ensuring that all Department tasks/duties are completed in a professional and timely fashion.
The Facilities Supervisor will be a required to work alongside the team to deliver the daily services, and when needed to deputise for the Facilities Team Leader during periods of absenteeism.
The Facilities Supervisor will be a point of contact which will require high visibility to all users of the services and the staff/teams that they assist in leading.
The Facilities Supervisor will be required to support the Facilities Team Leader across the full range of duties, including staff appraisals, and delivery of Stat man and bespoke training.

Good level of IT skill is required on programs such as Excel, Microsoft 10, Word
Ability to establish credibility and good relationships with staff including managers, contractors and stakeholders and manage those relationships with sensitivity and diplomacy
