Overview

Are you a supervisor looking to step into a Facilities Supervisor role? Join our friendly and supportive Facilities team at Yeatman Hospital in Sherborne.

As the Facilities Supervisor you will be knowledgeable in cleaning and catering processes and have an awareness of Infection Prevention Control and COSHH. You will have passion to learn how to lead a team and have experience with staff management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning audits, pre‑planned maintenance, rota planning, and other office‑based work.
  • Ensure day‑to‑day team tasks are met.
  • Maintain grounds and gardens to a tidy and presentable standard.
  • Assist in recruitment, induction, probationary period development and training of staff.
  • Ensure correct work methods are observed.
  • Ensure all personal and staff training is carried out and completed.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar supervisor role.
  • Experience with staff management.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience in cleaning and catering processes with knowledge of Infection Prevention Control and COSHH.
  • Applicants requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible.
Working Hours

Full‑time Monday to Friday. Hours: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with one late shift fortnightly to support the evening team and one day a month on the weekend.
