Job summary

A leading facilities management firm in Tees Valley is seeking an experienced Facilities Lead to oversee site performance and act as the main client contact. Are you an experienced Facilities Lead looking for your next career move? This is your chance to join an industry leader, where you will lead day to day site performance and act as the main client contact.

A leading player in the industry is currently looking for a Facilities Lead to join their growing team, covering a CPI contract in Darlington.

The Role
  • Lead day to day site performance and act as the main client contact.
  • Ensure all maintenance meets contractual, statutory and SLA requirements.
  • Maintain accurate asset registers and support effective CAFM record-keeping.
  • Manage and develop the site team, including reviews, coaching and onboarding.
  • Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance and timely reporting.
  • Maintain full site health & safety compliance, documentation and permit control.
  • Support and develop site SOPs, emergency procedures and priority response.
  • Attend and contribute to client and internal meetings/audits.
  • Review PPM/reactive reports and ensure follow-up actions are logged and completed.
What you'll need
  • Formally trained in mechanical services maintenance.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Basic skills on building management systems would be an advantage.
  • Formal health and safety training (Desirable).
