Job description

Our Facilities Team is growing, and as such we've the opportunity for Facilities Technicians to join us here at THORPE PARK Resort!

We are currently recruiting for Facilities Maintenance Technicians. Our Facilities team is expanding, and we need people who can do a little bit of everything, from groundwork to project work, keeping our Resort operating at the peak of efficiency and safety, in all weathers! The Management team will support you in your career, creating development plans to ensure you get the most from the role and progress within Merlin. The Facilities Maintenance Technician role is a hands-on role, which will include all installations and repairs to the park’s assets to the highest standard, in order to ensure compliance with current legislation and company policies. This will be achieved via the management of multidisciplinary activities, utilising both internal and external resource, all to ensure that we deliver an exceptional Guest Experience!

We are looking for the following skills and experience;

• Experience of working in a facilities/maintenance environment
• Passionate individual, who is able to work alone or as part of a small team
• Good understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance
• Ability to work using own initiative, displaying sound decision-making skills; whilst also being able to thrive in a team environment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year
• Working at height as required
• Recognised qualification in woodwork or on-site joinery desired

This role is Full Time, Permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
