Qualifications

Fabric Technician | Fintech Data Centre Location: West London ⏰ Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 (plus essential overtime) Reporting to: Fabric Manager
Salary: 40K + Overtime available

About the Role

Join our client’s team at a state-of-the-art fintech data centre, maintaining building fabric and services in a mission-critical, zero‑downtime environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs to building fabric, doors, windows, raised floors, roofing, and internal structures
  • Manage e‑permits, oversee subcontractors, and review risk assessments
  • Perform carpentry, decorating, plumbing, and general building maintenance
  • Support M&E engineers with fabric-related tasks and minor project works
  • Maintain stores, records, and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Multi-skilled tradesperson with strong carpentry, decorating and plumbing experience
  • Knowledge of raised floors and metal partition systems
  • Health & safety and working at height certifications
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Excellent communication skills and “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure in a critical environment
  • Basic PC skills (email, Word, Excel)
