A leading facility management company is seeking a Fabric Engineer to carry out building maintenance tasks including plumbing and carpentry. This role emphasizes service excellence across client properties, requiring relevant qualifications such as NVQ/City & Guilds in plumbing or carpentry. The Fabric Engineer will provide a variety of building services engineering maintenance tasks to a variety of client properties throughout the Weybridge site.
Job Description
This role includes carpentry and fabric related repairs, as well as basic plumbing, maintenance and installation. The emphasis is on delivering a world-class building services maintenance service.
Plumbing bias Fabric Engineer:
NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plumbing
NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in HVAC, mechanical engineering or equivalent with plumbing qualifications
Carpentry bias Fabric Engineer:
NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification OR time served multi trades operative who has considerable carpentry and joinery experience
Applicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred.
