South Lanarkshire Council's Finance Section is seeking to recruit a Clerical Assistant to undertake a range of clerical duties associated within the Accounts Payable/Vendor Teams.
Fantastic development opportunity to expand experience within the financial environment.
You will work within the Procure to Pay Section and provide clerical support arrangements within both the Accounts Payable and Vendor team. You should be able to demonstrate an awareness of the financial activity of the team and be involved in the day-to-day duties of the team.
You will display competence in dealing with customers and undertaking a wide range of clerical duties. You should be able to demonstrate numeracy skills to enable you to produce accurate and complex documents. You will also be able to prioritise work with limited supervision. You will display willingness to take part in team activities, contribute any ideas for improvement and work productively in a high pressurised environment.
We welcome applications from people who are enthusiastic and motivated and have good keyboard, oral and written communication skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The ability to work to tight deadlines, together with problem solving, team working and first-class communication skills are essential. You will enjoy working in a diverse environment and have a flexible attitude to change.
